Sumo

Sumo (相撲 (Sumō)) is a traditional wrestling style, originating from Japan.
It allows grips on the opponent's garments, and allows grip fighting/changing grips during the match.

Techniques

Regarding Sumo's arsenal of techniques, we know that leg techniques (hooks, sweeps, ect.), leg grabs and striking are allowed, and that pins and submission holds are not utilized.
Harite — slapping the opponent's face with an open hand, is allowed.

Objective

Force the opponent out of a circular ring (dohyō) or into touching the ground with any body part other than the soles of his feet.

Competition

The matches traditionally take place on the dohyō - a circle made of partially buried rice-straw bales mounted on a square platform of clay. The match duration is limited to 4 minutes (in the top division).

There are no established weight classes - you could end up wrestling someone who is twice your size!
Women are not allowed to participate in Sumo competitions.
Professional sumo excludes women from competition and ceremonies. Women are not allowed to enter or touch the sumo wrestling ring (dohyō) (Wikipedia)
