Bakweri wrestling
Bakweri wrestling (Wesuwa; Wesua) is a traditional wrestling style, originating from Cameroon.It doesn’t allow grips on the opponent's garments, and allows grip fighting/changing grips during the match.
Techniques
Regarding Bakweri wrestling's arsenal of techniques, we know that leg techniques (hooks, sweeps, ect.), leg grabs and pins are allowed, and that submission holds and striking are not utilized.Objective

The matches traditionally take place on grass. We don't yet know what the usual match duration is.We don't know if any weight classes are established.
Women are allowed to participate in Bakweri wrestling competitions as well.
